Because palliative care is about so much more than end-of-life care. It is about compassion, dignity, family and community support. This week provides an opportunity to shine a light on the care given to those with life-limiting illness and to the families who support them.
Whether you’ve been impacted by hospice care personally, or simply wish to show your support, your presence helps send a message of solidarity. After the walk we’ll gather in the hospice gardens for a moment of reflection and candles to remember loved ones.
